My memory is a little fuzzy, but I think you push the top block over, then go back down and around and hookshot across the hole to the block you pushed.

Uh. If I push the top block over, it's in line with the other blocks, thus I physically cannot hookshot over to it.
EDIT: There was a random block I had to push. I swear I tried pushing all the blocks before, but whatever. Problem solved.

I finally managed. That was a really fun puzzle, good stuff Puzzledude. Now to track down the last 3 DNA pieces I need and a bottle/belt.

But not hours. I think SePH made this one. You just push the 4th one from top once left and go all around, then you hookshot up.Uh. If I push the top block over, it's in line with the other blocks, thus I physically cannot hookshot over to it.

Indeed.EDIT: There was a random block I had to push. I swear I tried pushing all the blocks before, but whatever. Problem solved.
You see the problem is we can not make the pushable blocks be visible on the fly. The best we can do is to make them different once pushed at least once. I usually put the star object near to a pushable block to indicate it is pushable (if the indication is needed). This was not done here.
Congratulations. Not everyone can solve such advanced design.I finally managed. That was a really fun puzzle, good stuff Puzzledude. Now to track down the last 3 DNA pieces I need and a bottle/belt.
I'm guessing you are missing those DNA(Heartpieces) which you need to dig for.

Re: Are you stuck in the hack?
When you finish the game, here's some extra material if you are interested. Those were the Prototypes for some of the dungeons, as well as the "hard" version of the block puzzle you just finished:Derolis wrote:https://puu.sh/uzXfp/e9a5ff1d1c.png

You would be right. I managed to nab the last 3 pieces pretty quickly. I have absolutely no idea where that last bottle/belt could be though, if there even is a 4th one.
Also, I might check out those prototypes, thanks for linking them Puzzledude.

Re: Are you stuck in the hack?
Yes, there is a 4th bottle/belt. I think it is in the Conn's briefcase dungeon when you move one block (if I remember correctly), one is in the Resident Evil dungeon at the very bottom floor (soled by that sleeping guy), one is sold by that girl by the Casino, one should be in the chest (not sure), but this one should be easy to get.You would be right. Yes, primarily since you have just played through that big puzzle room, I thought it is the perfect timing for you to also try that "harder" version of the same room/puzzle. The rest is just for additional demo-playing if anyone is interested, since my original design might be somewhat less friendly (hidden switches in the wall, 2 layers secrets when one fake layer is hiding the actual layer, etc). Also, I might check out those prototypes, thanks for linking them.

The last bottle was the one in Conn's Briefcase. Finally 100% completion, I think anyway. Again, kudos to the whole team behind making this amazing rom hack. Easily the best one I've ever played. I had an absolute blast.

Also do note: SePH is the main person, who made the game. We were simply helping him out with smaller tasks.
I remember the first time I got the 100% solve on the version 1.0 (plays globally the same as 1.1.2 only the 1.0 has more bugs), and also made a screenshot on it.
By the way: which bosses were you using: normal (vanilla) or the "spiced up" ones (recoded bosses by Euclid). Namely you can choose the bosses difficulty when you read the first sign in the game (default setting is "normal"), when you enter the first black warp and change from Neo to Conker.
Also: did you play with MSU-1 sound or without.
There is an "easter egg" if completed the game on hard bosses (spiced up). But nothing special though.

Re: Are you stuck in the hack?
I used bsnes v070 and played with the MSU-1 sound. I used Vanilla bosses, mostly because I have horrible memories of slashing at Armos Knights for several minutes in Parallel Worlds (Which I never finished btw, I might have to go back to that) and I was scared I would get a repeat of that. I kind of regret it now, the bosses were a bit too easy on Vanilla. I might go back and replay it at some point and try hard mode without MSU-1 sound.

Re: Are you stuck in the hack?
Thanks for playing and having fun!
There's a special easter egg for those of you who have defeated the final boss/triggered the ending at least once on hard mode and are playing the msu-1 version. If you beat the final boss once on hard mode and save/quit, reload your game and go in Conn's folder. Try to find the easter egg!
An idea of Euclid for personal purposes!
There's also an easter egg in Euclid's DOS and that one doesn't need you to finish the game!

Re: Are you stuck in the hack?
I'm currently stuck at the Jedi Academy. I've tried to look up the solution on YouTube, but only found one video with a different layout than the current version. I'm basically stuck at the very beginning of the dungeon, I've only acquired the key in the "key"-room and need a small hint to progress further.

Re: Are you stuck in the hack?
I think you are missing the hookshoting through the bumper trick (only where possible). Otherwise your goal is to get the One Ring to be able to walk through all bumpers and also dig up the Seed to finish the dungeon.W4mp3 wrote:I'm currently stuck at the Jedi Academy. Re: Are you stuck in the hack?
It's possible, depends on how many Human and how many Dwarven you got. Before dungeon VI you should have 4 human rings in any case. I believe in the 1.1.2 we made it so that you can not solve dungeons ahead, so as far as I know you can not have 5 human rings before dungeon VI (since dungeon I has no ring, only the Agahnim fight), but you can have 4 human and 1 dwarven, which still makes it 5 in total. So the rings should read 05-04, which means 5 total, and out of that are 4 human= main or dungeon-rings (equals to crystals in ALttP).Plastic wrote:Am I supposed to have 5 rings when I reach dungeon VI?

Re: Are you stuck in the hack?
- Spoiler:
- Nice. It wasn't actually meant to be solved like that. As far as I know you should place that pushable block onto the switch and go up and hit the pegswitch there.
This room where you hit it is for later. And you hit this switch with the Seed (place the seed and kick it with pegasus shoes) and then explode the seed (previously known as cane of somaria). Of course this is mandatory only if you actually want to get pass this room entirely. I've also seen people hitting this switch with the superbomb, which we then fixed to not allow this to happen.

Re: Are you stuck in the hack?
Is the single long room on the right of the map in the Parallel Tower accessible?
If yes, how?
EDIT: Using no-clip cheat, these rooms don't seem to exist. There are just 2 random holes that are off-screen in normal play, in the wall.

The top half of the room will appear as visited once you reach ganon's room and the bottom half will appear as visited when you reach the room below ganon's room!

Re: Are you stuck in the hack?
Stuck trying to figure out how to get into the greyed out rooms in Parallel Tower on the map here. I see that one of them is connected to a room that fall through. The other greyed out room seems to have no connection to it. How do I get into these rooms?
Edit had a screenshot of the map but it wouldn't let me post it. Added a link to the screenshot https://drive.google.com/open?id=0BzbepmBEEB_0YlBYSGQxSFBJVHc

Unrelated to Parallel Tower ruins, in the Clock Tower, there is a pair of warp tiles blocked off by spikes. How do I get past the spikes?

Thank you. Found that shield. When you said it was a hacked shield, I thought it wasn't accessible in normal gameplay of this hack at first but I get your meaning now.Puzzledude wrote:With a level-4 tail (hacked shield).Unrelated to Parallel Tower ruins, in the Clock Tower, there is a pair of warp tiles blocked off by spikes. Found out how to get into the room on the left.
