Street Fighter II' Turbo :: Comments
Re: Street Fighter II' Turbo
I posted a video in the heavy damage themes thread that got put up as a youtube preview for my CPS-2+ pack, but if you'd like to post it up to here as well, that'd be cool.
Also, @Cyber_Yagami, looks like you used the title music I created from vertexguy's Frets of Fury and added in the "Street Fighter" voiceover on top of it and changed the ending. Would be cool if you could credit the artist for their work and me for the original edit.

Don't want to take credit for Cyber_Yagami's pack, nor for that particular re-edit with the altered ending, just wanted to note it and leave it up to them, if they felt it'd be appropriate to make a mention somewhere. For example, included in my pack is a readme file detailing sources and attributions. So I'm good with whatever. Thanks, Conn.
Crediting pcm sources is usually unattented... Most pcm artists simply gather some youtube video music and gather a set together without crediting the audio composers. I'm with you and think it would be nice if pcm artists do it alike you and add a readme with the audio sources.... but this is in the end not my business, I am really already occupied at 100% with coding and maintaining stuff. So I leave that part completely to the pcm creators.
@gyaragax Hmm, does the curtesy also apply to the creators of the MSU1 patch files? We do not create a big scene when we are not credited of who did what. I see all three of your YouTube videos not crediting who created the patches. We don’t argue over that so why make a scene of it? Just pointing this out.
I’d prefer this type of squabbling to be kept in the Private Messaging arena and not here. I really dislike pissing contests of who did what. Keep it private.

@pepillopev Again, not creating a scene. To your point, those videos, the sole purpose of which is to provide people on this site considering downloading something a chance to see what it is before they do so, link back directly to the source of the patches, this site, where credit is evident. Additionally, if you check each and every one of my pcm packs, they contain readme files with attribution for who created the patches. You're credited in the Wolfenstein one. If you'd like your name on the youtube video, I'm more than happy to oblige.
I don't intend to fight about this, and there's been way more words about this among way more people than was necessary. Was just saying to Cyber_Yagami, "Hey man, I made a thing that you built upon. It'd be a nice thing if you could throw my name in a text file. If not, that's cool." I'm being entirely cordial @pepillopev. Everybody's all good.

@gyaragax To keep it simple no one bothers to read the read me files (but you happily put everything else on the YouTube page as clear as day to be seen). But you are missing my point, keep these heated discussions in the private sector not publicly here.
I personally do not care if I get credit or not. After being around for a while, I come to realize this is just a simple hobby.
Just please in the future send a PM to whom ever you have a quarrel with. That is all I ask.

Would love to get that pack, but unfortunatly that host is a pain to get the files actually downloading. Would love it someone could rehost it to a better fileserver.

If you don't mind renaming the tracks you can use the 3DO pack I posted for the Super SF2 patch.

This hack adds new sounds for punches, and apparently, new graphics too:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hg4NmmLxTTA&feature=emb_title
Some things still for improvement:
-Music stops too soon between rounds.
-The first combat is always against the same fighter, and the rest of the stages too.
-To Add more frames of animations.
I still have a long year ahead before i can think in this things...

Hi there, I made a patch for this game, it enables the 10 stars of speed so there’s no need to do the cheat with the controller anymore, it works with SF2 Turbo msu1 files too. I hope you like it
