Thank you very much for this Darkshock, and for your other Megaman MSU1 releases as well. I'd been waiting a while for this one since Krzysztof completed the playthrough and it doesn't disappoint.

Is there a way to enhance the sound effects as well? I wonder if it were possible to enter the Megaman 8 PS1 sound effects into this?

We can only substitute one channel means either bgm or SFX. There's a Yoshi strange quest

Which replaces the SFX, but leaves the spc. So it's an exclusive or.

I modified the Rockman & Forte/ Mega Man & Bass MSU1 Music files to the tunes of the GBA. The UNCOMPRESSED and STEREO versions of the GBA tunes to be exact.

I once worked in a Data Entry firm and ,to pass time, I'd listen to video game soundtracks. I eventually came across this video compiling all of the Mega Man & Bass tracks with uncompressed GBA audio using their base midi files as a source.



I hoped that someday I could play the game using these tracks instead of the SNES ones but I didn't think it possible... until three days ago. I took it a step further and pulled a Thanos. I hacked the files in MYSELF through all the lessons I found across the internet. I just thought I'd contribute to this growing community. Enjoy!

I'm not sure if the looping audio converter support miningsf audio input (so you have fully looped pcm output in a second), but at least you have original rips.

I may be wrong but I THINK you may have misunderstood my post. I was saying I already DID hack in the Uncompressed GBA songs and have provided the completed files in the google drive link in the post.

I only can download a Rockman and Forte.sf2 with a file size of 500kb, therefore I thought you are missing some sources. But maybe I did something wrong.

You are most welcome. Bit of a nit pick... GBA is actually Game Boy Advance (no 'd'). It's okay. I always thought it had a 'd' for the longest while even after owning one.
