Discord Server

It seems like a lot of online gaming communities these days have Discord servers, which can be helpful for things like tech support, where real-time conversations are more useful than the slow turnaround time of message boards, so I figured I might as well set one up for our community here, rather than pointing people to my own personal server.  With that in mind, I'm happy to announce the launch of the new, official Zeldix community Discord server.  Feel free to drop in and chat, ask for (or offer) help with hacking, or show off your latest work.

the zeldix server is still around. there is an alttp server that does have hacking however it is more for rando speedruns and some of the members are pretty toxic.

I understand, I ask because I was part of the server but it disappeared, I suppose they removed me for not having been active for a while.

i don't recommend joining the alttp server. some of the members are pretty aggressive and bit nasty. the zeldix server however is pretty slow.

Same here, I also got removed from the server....I guessI can see it as a kick in my butt that I should stop procrastinating...

Yes, I deleted the server for personal reasons. Basically I now view romhacking as an immoral act of altering other peoples games into derivates, for which we have no permission.

No, I made it private. At the moment I don't see the need to link to existing prepatched hacks and other resources, as well as the developement of new high quality hacks to random visitors.

As I mentioned, it belonged to the server and suddenly disappeared, now I understand that I was expelled because it is private. Thank you anyway.

Nintendo didn't lose any money from SNES rom hacks. And I would have thought they would be honored to have you and other great hackers make rom hacks from their games. I know I would if I had a game worthy of being hacked.

I should have also said that Nintendo should be inspired by the work you guys have done and do here. You are truly amazing hackers and people.

My humble opinion ...

People like Conn, Qwertymodo, Kurrono, Pepillopev, Gizaha, Seph etc., etc. and such;
Nintendo, Sega, Sony, Microsoft and etc., should have you with them, you are masters at what you do, thanks to each one, thanks a lot !!!
