I found another pcm missing in my hack 22=34.pcm
U can make a copy of ff3_msu1-10.pcm and change it to ff3_msu1-34.pcm

I'll code the asm to play pcm-80 for the pause start jingle later and upload when back home.
Is -34 the ending? I at least had mute at there. Can you provide the additional pcm, K (34 and 80)? Best were to re-upload the pack but a second dl link would do it as well.

Nope 34 is a secret room on last stage...they.re 2 of them...the ending is 26... and before 26 is like a mute is the explosion of the building is 31.. I can add a heavier pcm explosion there..or leave it mute
Maybe it was my fault with the ending theme I accelerated much, used cheats, etc.
I coded the pause jingle, it plays now $50=80 when pressing start and reloads the stage theme after continue.

(don't use old savestates when testing, boot fresh)
Let us know when you updated the pcm pack with 80 and 34 as well, and I hope/guess we are done then

@Kurrono Your share permissions for the 80 PCM link are incorrect (requires a user logon to obtain). Make this one available and I will combine them as one for you and host them. Let me know when the 80 pcm share permissions are corrected to download.
@Kurrono Ok, as we discussed over text, one download is setup that includes tracks 34 and 80. Hopefully, this is it. Great job, K. Can't forget, Mr C too.
Hi everyone,
I tried to unzip the files and an error occur. Winrar is telling me that there is no archives found.
Can anyone help me out, that is a first for me.

Just tried and works for me. Both parts must be in one folder before extracting. Also winrar might not be the best choice, try 7zip

Sorry, my bad.
No stage music in some secret rooms, in actual gameplay.
It only was a suggestion the use debug mode.
Hmm, perhaps the PCM files are missing for these secret rooms. I saw earlier up at the top in discussions that this was the case. I recommend using bsnes+debugger and putting a hook on $2004 to see what track is suppose to play. This is something you can do to verify. No stage music in some secret rooms, in actual gameplay.
Get bsnes+debugger here:
- Code:
https://www.emucr.com/2020/03/bsnes-plus-git-20200315.html
Launch it and in the menu go...
#1 In bsnes window, go to 'Tools' -> 'Debugger' (a Debugger window will open)
#2 In Debugger window, go to 'Tools' -> 'Breakpoint Editor' (a Breakpoint window will open)
#3 In Breakpoint window, click on 'Add' button (you will see a row appear at top)
#4 Double click in the row, under 'Start', type 2004, press ENTER key
#5 Under 'W' in same row, click on the white box to check mark it
example screenshot for steps 3-5...
#6 Now go to secret room in game; it should stop the game, you will see some code that will be executed next in the debugger section. Look for the register A value, this will be the track msu-1 should play.
Convert this value from hex to decimal value and see if you have this PCM in your folder (as an example -> hex $0F would be track PCM track 15).

Your screen is outdated...I added images for the newest version to reduce confusion. Thanks anyway, Conn, for the effort.Conn wrote:Here's an image in case it helps:

It's from another game and an older bsnes, but technically the same like Pev described
Agreed. Do not recall how many times we have to explain this.Conn wrote:Jupp, I updated my post above. One day we should make a tutorial I think
