Neither this nor ultimate series were in-depth playtested for bugs... but we (Relikk and I) had a hard time to anticipate possible bugs. I hope everything is alright during your tests
There was a german translation of the game, which does sadly not work with this patch (even combined with NTSC-patch).
I know it´s tiresome to get multilanguage-support-requests, but this is some kind of special, since the whole game got fully translated into german back then and... well there is quite some text in this game.
So a patch for the german version would be highly appreciated.

Unfortunately, the author of this patch retired... you'd need to adjust the asm (e.g., use a hex comparison program to find the corresponding addresses in the German version, and then edit the org $xxx to the new location)
in order to support the retirement of the original patch author, i'll work on converting this. i'm probably about halfway done, but even the addresses in ram have changed. very funny.

All I gotta say is at this point it's not going well. expect this to take a while.
all I'm doing is correcting addresses but it seems to get stuck in loops and even breaks the stack at one point. i have no idea why, since I'm not changing code. I'm likely to say at this point that i might be better off just hacking from scratch, but I know the end result is going to be less impressive than what was done.

I only checked with a hex editor for the new $ org addresses and looked in the code for changing JSL and RAM stuff that were overwritten by the hooks. No magic...
