Zelda 64 Triforce Obtained Hack

Apparently a team of hackers, hacked the game and made it possible to obtain the Triforce. It seems like they also hacked in a bunch of other rumors and such too and kind of made their own story and ending.

They didn't actually hack the game, they used an unmodified Ocarina of Time v1.0 cartridge and they used Arbitrary Code Execution (With TASbot) in order to basically reprogram certain parts of the game. Some things in Triforce% are actually in the cartridge itself, while other things like the BotW2 things, the story and the cutscenes that were shown were all made by using Arbitrary Code Execution. That said, this run at SGDQ2022 was awesome to see. Never thought anything like this would be possible but it just goes to show how broken Ocarina of Time is.

Wow, that's very cool. So from the video a person would've never had gotten the trip force because the needed assets where tied into the N64DD. Correct? That is how I had understood it. It's also very neat how links new blue outfit fits into the series. With that said, Nintendo did re write the lore of LOZ, So does this mean it's no longer relevant to the series now? This is very huge and really shakes the whole series.

Nope, a person would have never gotten the triforce because there are a ton of glitches that are involved, and for a portion of the run you need to have TASbot running in order to get Arbitrary Code Execution inputs on controllers 2, 3 and 4. I'd try looking up the SGDQ2022 run for more details and to see how the whole run is like.

Much of the assets in that, including at least one of the voice recordings and many of the graphical assets used, are NOT in the game at all. They were coded into the game in raw hex through arbitrary code execution.

And as far as I know, the N64DD wasn't involved with this in any way.
