Code:: -- DESCRIPTION -- The Legend of Zelda: 12 Hour Challenge is a hack made by Zarby89 within a 12 hour time limit. This hack was the inspiration for the 18 Hour Hack Challenge in 2023, showing that you could design good overworlds and dungeons in a fairly fast amount of time. Originally it was officially released in 2023, but the hack was still in its beta form so it still needed some bugfixing/minor tweaks to make it a better experience. So in 2024, Letterbomb decided to finally update this hack by adding in things like a Titlescreen, a Custom Item Menu, a Custom File Select Screen, and many other Quality of Life changes to make the hack much better. In the end, this hack is comparable in size to the 18 Hour Hacks, so if you're looking for something short and sweet to play, this is the hack for you. -- STORY -- The story is set in the Lands of Mido, where you are suddenly woken up by a loud scream coming from the Koto Forest next to your house. Your uncle Alphon decides to go out in the rain to discover what the noise was all about. But after waiting for a while, you realize that he isn't coming back to the house. So your quest begins in the dark and stormy night... -- ITEMS FOR 100% -- 10 Hearts, Magical Sword (L2), Fire Shield (L2), Green Tunic (L1), Silver Bow and Arrows, Hookshot, Bombs, Lamp, Bug-Catching Net, 1 Bottle, Magic Mirror, Pegasus Boots, Power Gloves, Zora's Flippers, and All 3 Pendants.
