Where to start
Where to start
I never used to create a hack before. I wish to know from where I start, how to build an ALTTP hack.
What should I learn, which tools, languages, articles to read etc. I see you work with assembly on your hacks, but I don't know asm, I know a bit of C language only. I'm very excited to start to contribute to the community with my own hacks.

Re: Where to start
My advice is to just join a hack which is already in the works because starting a new one or just doing it all on your own is very difficult.
As far as I know, you can't even make a fully completed hack even if you have Hyrule Magic because it bugs up and you need to know hex and some asm to fix it.
There are several projects already underway so I say find one and see what they need and specialize in that.

Re: Where to start
The Tutorials section is your friend.
But yeah, Hyrule Magic is where you should start, although it's a little tricky to get used to, if you've used other programs like Lunar Magic.
