I highly recommend Alcaro's Floating IPS over beat, as he managed to figure out a much more time-efficient delta patch encoder algorithm (doesn't really affect the patch output, just the speed of creating it). Also, he intentionally copied the LIPS GUI for the benefit of people who hate any kind of change for any reason

care to elaborate? is he pulling down these tools? and forbidding archive.org access to his site?

For unknown reasons, all byuu's tools are giving the 404 error, so they can not be downloaded. We decided to reupload some of the vital tools to other servers and link to them, specially the patcher and the assembler.care to elaborate? is he pulling down these tools?

Basically, he did a sever migration and the tools didn't make it up on the new one. He's not intentionally trying to take them down.

ah, my bad; i visited the tools pages, but didn't try the download links on byuu.org. thanks to both of you for taking initiative on this.
