Hi Guys,

with the help from Conn i can release the first version of Terranigma MSU-1. This version (should) work with the NTSC and PAL Version. But some guys should play the hole game to check the music and each scene. All files are included. Only 2 spcs are only use in the game. The "save game"- sound and the "baby cry" in the endingscene. But this is okay i hope.

Patch for PAL European (English), German and NTSC USA version (USA NTSC version has to be applied on the PAL European (English) version. This patch will make it next to msu1-support also NTSC compatible.
Read the included Readme!

I could test it with Bsnes plus v073+3a and snes9x with MSU-1 Support.

This is cool and seems to work fine with both the NTSC and font-fix patches applied. So you can play it in English at 60hz.

Yes, the code and position in rom is the same in alle rom versions.

New version in first post.
The former patch wasn't much compatible with the English version (bugs may have occured), please re-download the patch and apply on a fresh rom.

This is awesome. I only hope that Illusion of Gaia's assembly is similar enough to this that it would be able to be next on the chopping block.

Thank you for working on Terranigma. I guess I need to work on this game next in terms of covering an orchestral soundtrack.

Somehow the "v3 link" still linked the old v2 version

(edited all posts (first post here and in the database) where the old v2 link was active to point to the new v3).
The bug was small, the msu "item collect" was played twice when the room was mute, so no big deal if you play the old v2 anyways Very Happy

Might I suggest checking the links on the actual hacks database? This thread is rather outdated.

You'll likely want to redownload the patch itself from there also, to make sure you have the most recent version.

They were talking about the links in the first post of this thread, not the ones in the hacks database.
