Thanks to the user VideogameScrapbook from RH forum which report that there are some arranged soundfiles in the ost.
add to google drive.

So we should replace the files in the PCM set with the arranged tracks?
There are only 6 pcm files so I assume to replace these with the ones downloaded from the normal pack, right?
We have a similar system in SOM2:

Maybe you can clarify it in the first post as well, how to handle the new arranged files, RedNote:
1) Download first the SOM2_OST.zip and unpack the pcm:s into your msu folder. Not all 75 tracks have been remastered, so this is the base pcm set which consists of (high quality) spc resembling pcm themes.
2) Download the SOM2_Remastered.zip and unpack the files into your msu folder by replacing the existing themes (35 remastered tracks were found, but many of the remaining spc resembling themes are sfx anyways, so a big part could be covered).
Yes, please replace the old files if you like. Its an alternative Ost part from origin composer.
Thanks
Red

I wanted to post to report that the PCM links are dead.
Now we only need Soul Blazer and we're golden! I'm planning to make some tracks for it too if anyone wants to do the hacking.
EDIT: And now that's done. LOL

Just wanted to confirm that applying the German patch to the Spanish rom release will make MSU1 work (at least the intro & Krista town (didn't test any further).

Readme:
so apparently yesNTSC (USA) users:
apply NTSC/Terranigma_msu_Europe_NTSC.ips on Terranigma (Europe).sfc (this patch makes the rom automatically msu1 and NTSC compatible!
So if you guys do not know this youtube artist and love terranigma you should. This is not only my favorite video game music remastered, it is my favorite orchestrated music. It is beautiful. When I am out of school for the summer I am going to make a PCM set that mainly features this guys music and I will update regularly if he continues to release more tracks after summer. These songs are really heavily re-imagined and extended covers of the track but I know some music editing to be able to find the best parts and make a solid tracks with loop points that is appropriate for a video game. Take a listen, it is fantastic.
Here is a playlist of his music.

Does anyone have a track mapping sheet for Terranigma? I would love to see it if so. As I described before, I am very excited to release my own PCM pack eventually
I checked there is only a json for the arranged tracks (but these are little).
You can try contact redscorpion:
snesprojects@gmail.com
or in worst case, listen to the OST pcm (msu2wav) and match the track numbers with the ost.

I thought I might have to try map tracking by listening to the pcms, not that big a deal. I will try to send red scorpion a message though. Thanks Conn.
Much luck! Since we only have 6 from 58 tracks in CD quality (rest is spc OST converted to pcm), I really highly appreciate your project (this patch is nearly obsolete until there's a more complete set...)

Oh, i had no clue. I thought the 6 tracks was just some alternate choices to the main pcm pack. That makes me excited to do this pcm set and a little said that my semester is so bad that there is no chance i can have time do this sooner than May. There is enough music to this game that i can make a full album, im just going through each track at a time to make a decision on which remix/cover i like best for each track.
Yes... I am not sure what was the issue back that day. I think Terranigma didn't have enough arranged themes since it was never released in the US and thus unknown to most, so Red was only able to find 6 themes.
Since the game has a hard mute (no spc fallback) we were forced to have a spc-pcm pack with the rest
Luckily that situation seems to have changed

Oh hold on, Red uses these arranged set by Martin Denk:

However I think these resemble the original spc... not sure. Does anybody know more?

Ok, I just checked and it seems like the whole album is following that youtube arranged album. That is what I thought so that makes sense. It is true that this is a very unknown game that was never released in america and released to close to the N64 to get time to get real hype behind it but there is actually a lot of good music for this game through youtube artists. This is my favorite SNES soundtrack and I think a lot of people cover this game's music simply for being so fantastic. If you have not heard Roman Heuser's Terranigma covers you ought too, it is Lord of the Rings level good in my opinion. I showed a link earlier in the post, if you click about a minute and 20 seconds in you will hear how fantastic his covers are.
Yes, seems like I mixed it up with seiken densetsu 3 (SoMana 2), where we only had 35 of 75 tracks or so until darthvaderx released the Songs of light and darkness set. SD3 is even less known than terranigma... maybe this changes with the collection of mana release.
I listened to many of this Roman Heuser remakes, they are indeed superb and more than worth making to a pcm set! I cross my fingers that you soon have time to make it

Hey Everyone!!!
I am almost finished with my Terranigma MSU-1 PCM tracks. I actually got all the tracks made but I am going to do a full playthrough of the game to make sure I like the music editing I did and the volume levels of each track is correct. I got a teaser preview of my work so far though. Check it out.
I should finish by the end of this month. Hope you all enjoy.
