Street Fighter II' - Special Champion Edition & Remastered Edition (MD+) :: Comments
Re: Street Fighter II' - Special Champion Edition & Remastered Edition (MD+)
Fantastic job my friends, thanks.
Note : the 3DO version has wonderful arrangements but the character select sound is a little low, I don't know if it's the quality or if it's like that.
But without any problems, as it can be replaced.

That track is actually from the Hyper Street Fighter II port on the Switch, as the 3DO version is a port of Super Turbo, the character select music is the same as the intro in original SFII. The volume is because of the bass in that track, it was quite strong on my system, but by all means put the file into an editor and boost the volume to your satisfaction. It shouldn't need more than a +1/+2 dB boost. That's what's handy about individual WAV files (as opposed to combined BIN files and PCM's).
I'll review it again when I'm putting together the CPS2 audio option.
Yes I already knew these details, it's just a feedback.
About being able to work with wavs and not bin, it is very easy to be able to test the tracks.
The work is huge, thank you very much.

At times like this I regret having bought a megaeverdrive pro

You can still play ArcadeTV's MSU-MD version, but it doesn't have heavy damage themes yet.

I tried the link and it gave me a 404 webpage. I searched on github to make sure there was no error from the link or on my part and it's nowhere to be found. As of now it seems to not exist.Relikk wrote:You can still play ArcadeTV's MSU-MD version, but it doesn't have heavy damage themes yet.

ArcadeTV has bowed out of the scene for a while. Apparently he was receiving rude DM's on Twitter from people asking for updates and fixes for his releases. His Twitter and GitHub are disabled until he returns.
Bloody hell, what happened to common decency and politely requesting/asking ?
Yup, that is only flaw with this hobby sometimes. You get entitled fools wanting stuff quickly and don't consider these patches are mostly done for free. If it is this bad when its free, imagine if Patreon donations were involved.Retroplay wrote:Bloody hell, what happened to common decency and politely requesting/asking ?

Also have the ArcadeTV's for Warsong and target Earth patches and soundpacks, (I made de warsong soundpack from PCE CD OST and have the one made from ArcadeTV, also contribuited with the Target Earth soundpack) , both works fine (no freezes). But I don't know if it will be allowed to post them here.

As long the ROM is not present in your links and ROM is stable (not still in development or game breaking); I see no issues as to why it should not be posted.jerrymh wrote: Also have the ArcadeTV's for Warsong and target Earth patches and soundpacks, (I made de warsong soundpack from PCE CD OST and have the one made from ArcadeTV, also contribuited with the Target Earth soundpack) , both works fine (no freezes). If you still desire to post them, feel free to do so. Warsong would be in RPG section; while Target Earth, would be in Jump ‘n Gun. It would be preferable if you have an accompanying YouTube placeholder video as well (but not mandatory).
Try to follow the template of articles like this one also, to keep everything uniform and tidy.
Nice, then I will post it later. I tested both and no Issues on all the game.pepillopev wrote:As long the ROM is not present in your links and ROM is stable (not still in development or game breaking); I see no issues as to why it should not be posted.

Unfortunately the patch to be applied to the SF-Remastered rom is breaking the rom when applied.
The other roms/patchs work perfectly.
the patch is successfully applied but the game is muted.

It depends on what platform you're using it on. Do you have a MegaSD or the MAME fork that supports MD+? It should work fine if you have. These patches are not for the Mega Everdrive Pro, or for Genesis Plus GX.
Refer to this post if you want the MEDP or G+GX patch: https://www.zeldix.net/t2316-street-fighter-ii-special-champion-edition-remastered-edition-md#38694

Sorry I'm trying to use a modified Plus-GX core that I use to run other MSU/MD+ and as this one didn't work I thought it was a problem with the patch, thanks for clarifying.
