I'm currently on MD+ 1.0a & 1.5 Rael GC (CRC32: DF1C1159
).  

How do I get this up to date (1.0a + 1.8 Rael GC)?  I keep getting errors saying its the wrong rom.  I even tried starting from scratch (Rev A to 1.5, etc.)

Edit:
never mind figured it out.

  • Started from scratch to with patch 1.0a = CRC-C4FDD15C

  • Patched with For Already Patched Original v1-0a folder

  • Result is 1.8r CRC 329FFC550F

Whatever changes Rael G.C. has made since his v1.5 has made the audio patches incompatible. So, either he, or void, need to alter their patches to make them compatible with each other.

It's getting a little confusing since I already have a Master Linkuei & Billytime!Games v1.0a "Arcade Edition" ROM, as well as the Rael G.C. v1.8 (v1.4f) "Arcade Edition Enhanced" ROM based on Master Linkuei’s v1.0a hack.

I personally am going to pass on this, but just for those who are interested: Will this latest v1.8 manage with the MD+ add-ons? Disgust

v1.5 is the last version that worked fine with the MD+ patch. Anything above that won't work.

Sorry to hear that 1.6 broken the MD+ patch.

What happened on that version: the default music order is back to the Genesis/MegaDrive original, and the "arcade" order is no more the default.

I'm working on a 1.9 version, which I think will be the "final" version (if Reddit users stop report broken graphical details in the original Probe version).

Always found that to be a weird change, to be honest. It is an "Arcade Edition" hack, after all.

The "arcade" music is just the same Genesis OST, but in a different order. You can still change it in the option.

Arcade Edition v2.0 MD+ & MSU-MD patches.
Use on pre-patched Arcade Edition v2.0 rom (CRC 5EA15F73).

v1.6+ music order change reverted to v1.5 order, that fixed the compatibility issue in both versions.
