This patch will apply to an English patched ROM, the original Japanese ROM, and the archive contains a combined patch of the English translation and MSU1.

You will need to rename one file after extraction of the music.
bssm_msu-2 has two versions: English and Japanese.
rename whichever one you prefer to bssm_msu-2.

Awesome! Been waiting for this one! Hope to try it out on my FXPak Pro one of these days! Hoping to see Sailor Moon R, Sailor Moon S - Jougai Rantou! Shuyaku Soudatsusen, Sailor Moon SuperS - Zenin Sanka!! Shuyaku Soudatsusen and Sailor Moon FighterS (hack of SuperS) get the same treatment!

You might be pleasantly surprised. ; )

I've already started work on S (not Super S yet) and I believe there's a replacement OST for R as well...

If I do work on SuperS, I'll make sure to keep it as compatible with FighterS as I can.

Sailor Moon R does indeed have a replacement OST. Ooh, I forgot to mention. There's a hack of Sailor Moon S called Sailor Moon S - Big Zam Edition. There are two variants. One, which may require a difficult search, translates the main menu and stage select menu to English and adds additional palette options for the characters. The other variant, available on the romhacking website, in addition to the above, balances some of the characters and removes Sailor Uranus from the versus mode, ideal for tournaments (I take it she's OP). Here's hoping the MSU-1 patch of Sailor Moon S will work on both of these hacks.

Most romhacks leave the audio code alone, so the only real consideration to make is where I put my MSU1 code (but it's easy to move if there's a conflict.)  

At any rate S is entering final stages (making PCMs, Testing) and may release tomorrow if all goes well. It's nice to work on things that aren't RPGs.

As far as SuperS goes, it seems like many of the songs are similar, just rearranged a bit.. but perhaps it would map better from the PSX version of SuperS?

Might not be a bad idea. If there are cutscene songs and other songs from the SNES game not in the PSX version, I suggest using the SNES S CD though.
