Skip monologues with L

I've just seen this post on Romhacking.net

What it does, is that it skips all monologues for Link's Awakening by pressing B. The person who made this, said that only 3 bytes were changed. It would be great, if this could be done for Alttp by pressing L or any other obsolete button. I know a lot of players, who don't understand one word of english, so any text in the game is just a waste of time for them (reminds me of Skyward sword! - someone I know, wanted to throw a joystick into the TV, because of the very long dialogs, that he could not skip).

one time i played a game where there were movie cut scenes that i was forced to watch and they were very long....

one day i almost kicked my foot into the tv screen......... i just want to play already ........ not watch crap. lol

The Problem isn't this request, but that my hacks overpatched the game and thus there is hardly any playce to hook anymore ^^

I coupled it to Euclid's code of the superbomb (where it checks for R-button press), so it only works on the all-in Rom or in case you have the complete items hack applied:

I may merge it to the complete item code. SePH, any Needs for PU? Probably yes, since you have looooong monologues. I'd couple it on the R button here since the superbomb and galaxy book is on L-button. Just tell me your Needs.

Thank you, it works. I also reviewed that patch with all items, and how to turn some off, if someone doesn't want them all.

One other way is to apply the separate superbomb patch and then this, and it works.

Great that you can help yourself with the items. But you maybe should not use the single superbomb patch... I updated it with dungeon use, but I do not remember whether the single file is also updated...

I also sent you a Version to have this monoluge fix with the R-button in PU, SePH (R used for super-bomb/galaxy book in PU).
