Thanks for all your contributions (Rock'n Roll, TG2 and F-Zero) updated the first posts with your new sets
More to come this year, it's been a while since I have done new ones but I hope to change that.
Is anyone else have weird static and the like for the fullgamezone version in retroarch snes9x? All my other MSU patches seem to work fine there, but this one. Haven't tried other music packs as I don't like the others. Thanks if anyone has any info!

Do you mean at the beginning of every race?, i think it happens in the original version too.
If you have strange behaviour at exotic emulators, I always recommend trying the standard emus, snes9x and bsnes. If it appears there, too, then it's maybe "normal"...

It was really cool, but in Snes9x the songs are popping.
Bsnes and sd2snes are normal.
Does this mean the popping is fixed or that it still exists. The wording is a little confusing. This is the issue that I was having and its good to know it is a known issue not a one off. Thanks regardless.

edit: See below.
For my taste it has the level of music a little bit low, but this game has some kind of problem if the .pcm's are too loud, reacting bad when the sound effects sounds together if the music pass certain level of db's.
By the other hand, if the music remains a little behind of the sound effects it feels like a certain level of ambient, so this is in some way cool too xD

I would like to comment an issue with this game related to the music volume and the sound effects.
I'm noticing that when the music surpasses that "0.6" db level (the horizontal green lines), if in that moment the game is playing any sound effect, the output sounds corrupted during brief thousandths of a second.
The only solution is to keep down the music volume even more, only due to this few white and red vertical lines... but the game is already in the border of having a too much low level of music, staying too much behind of the sound effects.
One solution is to up 14 db the pcm music, and then leave again the volumen slightly behind that "0.6" db level (the mentioned horizontal green lines)...
Doing this the music can be more volume than before, being totally balanced with the engine noise of the car and the other sound effects, and avoiding tha sound corruptions, but then the music sounds a bit distorted.
The question is: Anyboy is having problems with the actual .pcm pack? (i'm using snes9x v.1.56.2).
I really want to fix this, but i don't know what solution is better, if keeping the actual volume level, or balance it but with some distortion.

Ouch, that poor waveform.
Distortion is a SNES9X problem, I wouldn't worry about it too much. Use BSNES and you won't get any distortion issues. Plus it provides a more accurate representation of what you'll hear on an SD2SNES.

With bsnes it doesn't happens, so with an sd2snes it would be the same, and finally there shouldn't have any problem.
I will increase the volume level, What about 3 or 4 db?.
Ok, here is the pcm pack with the correct balance between music and sound effects. I added 4.5db to the music volume, so now it hears much better.
The last pcm pack had a lower volume level cause i thought that the problems with the snes9x would be a constant with the hardware too, sorry for the inconveniences ^^u

I did a custom soundtrack based on various Amiga racers (Lotus III, Jaguar XJ220 etc) a few years back.
Perhaps it's of interest to some of you, especially if you're familiar with Amiga games.
Video preview of the first three levels (sorry, I don't have or use YouTube):

Download the PCM pack here:
https://tinyurl.com/y3h43rye
The tracks used:
1.pcm : Lotus III - The Ultimate Challenge (Gremlin)- Breathless (Patrick Phelan)
2.pcm : Jaguar XJ220 (Core) - Breeze (Martin Iveson)
3.pcm : Turbo Trax (Arcane) - Title Music (Adam Pracey)
4.pcm : Jaguar XJ220 (Core) - Title Music (Martin Iveson)
5.pcm : Jaguar XJ220 (Core) - 19ktune (Martin Iveson)
6.pcm : Overdrive (Team 17) - Jingle 4 (Allister Brimble)
PS. first post as a long time lurker.
