Room number in RAM? Empty Room number in RAM?

Is there a RAM location that I can check to know which room number I'm currently in? I looked through the docs section of this forum, and both links in Seph's Compendium post are dead, so I can't download that to look through it. I'm currently in the process of dumping all the rooms using HM (see here), but in order to use those images, I need to know which room goes where. Most of them are easy enough to tell just from having played the game, but some rooms are more difficult to figure out. If I could view the room numbers as I played the game, it would make it much easier to match them up.

Nearly all crucial addresses are inside.
$A0[0x02] - The index used for loading a dungeon room. There are 296 rooms all in all. (mirrored in other variables).

Thanks Conn. I actually did download that archive, and had started digging through it, but hadn't gotten that far yet. Serves me right for going through all of the files alphabetically Razz
