I thought at the beginning of the game it clearly says that the Conker game does not promote weed. Also, when I was playing I never bought the seringe-speed up thing. So what you did here is pretty much for some speedrunners to find, otherwise it is a very small chance anyone will experience this bug. Like I said before: the speed up and the Feather are highly problematic when it comes to debug. Surely even further bugs can be found with these two items.Part 6

^ I think I have a better explanation for that glitch in part 6.
If you lay a deku seed platform in-between those hopping tiles the game thinks that you are hopping while you try and hop over the platform. So you are flagged as being in a hopping state.
Then the game also thinks that you are riding on the deku platform so you are flagged in that state too. The reason why you seem frozen when on top of the deku platform is because you are actually in mid-air in mid-jump. When you normally jump you cannot change your facing direction while in mid-air jumping.
When the deku platform comes to rest then you are able to move, then the jumping state finally has a chance to execute and since you had a speed power-up then the jump is substantially higher than normal.
So it then allows the player to jump vertically on the z-axis an entire screens height.
The interesting thing here is that I think I can trigger this on the original link to the past with out speed or feather power-ups. In fact you don't even need the feather like I said in the video. If you can find a block to hookshot onto you can leave the platform so you don't need the speed electric shock to leave platform. I'll see if I can't recreate this in the standard lttp.

Although, you can not leave the platform without the speed injection. I guess this is the problem, unless like said you could hookshot from it.

Since it did not soft lock the game I don't really see any issue with this. But it is interesting since ive never seen it before.

I think its a cool glitch and I don't see how it ruins the game. Not a softlock so I wouldn't worry about it. Not everything has to be "fixed".

I attempted to recreate the platform glitch in the original alttp and was successful. I don't know where you could do this though in a non-edited alttp and if it would give a speed runner any advantage but it is possible.
I'm going to call it the Rocket Launch or Platform Launch since I think I'm the first to find it. Essentially you can boundary break with this.

I'm still working on testing the hack to make sure its good to go and I thought I would show off a challenge that I created.
I'm calling it the Bare Bones Challenge. You play the game with getting the least amount of items that you can with the goal that you make it to Gannon and beat him. The means avoiding all powerups and upgrades that you can.
I will try and explain it a little more later.
My camera randomly shut off after like 30 mins so thats why its short.

I may look into the mimic thing. Probably it is enough to make them being harmed with boomerang, but more probably I will disable the circle routine of the bottle when getting a collision.

So does this mean that I have to submit my hack again?
Actually fixing this is a good idea as it happens a lot.

- Dog in Spencer can trigger it
- Mimmicks can trigger it
-Jelly fish in parallel tower can trigger it

Can't retrace your "afraid of". That's the usual business of a hacker. Check the list of what I needed to update for this fix.This is exactly what I was afraid of. I finish the hack and then somebody fixes something in the code.
Also see what happened on releases since the original 1.1 release on Conker.
All you need to do is applying the fix patch, fix the crc and reupload on your dropbox (keeping the link). 10 minutes.

Alright, I will upload another version with the bug net fix. This game literally doesn't end.
Also thanks for fixing this bug and can you believe that I was the only person who found it out of all of the playtesters.
When you beta test a game you have to use every weapon on every enemy.

Yeah. I think the pan is one of the least used weapon (weak) so this wasn't yet discovered. Great that you found it! It affected all my other patches (all-in, and the single patch).

I can't believe that I am saying this, but I had some things that were bugging me with my Erock Version and so I did a slight update to my own version.
I might try and update the link to see if I can keep the same link.
All in all the original game (CHRT) was actually pretty good and well made, but there were some things that really needed polishing up.
What did a change, well just small stuff here and there, but believe it or not the small stuff really made a difference in my opinion.
Anyway, I'm currently watching some 9 hour long playthrough of the game so I want to finish watching that before I wrap up my update. No new graphics were inserted, just minor tweaks and such. But finally I can put this to rest as I am satisfied.
I might try and update the link to see if I can keep the same link.
