As JUD6MENT said, your link is restricted. It's an option you need to change.

Right click on the folder and click on "Get link". This will pop up.



Change the "General access" option from "Restricted" to "Anyone with the link". Then click on "Copy link" and use the one that's generated from that.

Mr. Wubbzy, much thanks for all your contributions, but seeing the first post, it's getting a mess. You provided 9 pcm sets, and we are grateful for that (as always when fans contribute and advance zeldix), but as this point I need to say that we have enough selections for F-Zero and won't post more into the first post.

Or another solution would be to create a folder on your Google Drive (or wherever you like, doesn't have to be Google) for your PCM packs and re-upload everything you've done to that folder. There would only be one link instead of nine then, and people can click into it and get what they want. Just a suggestion.

You could have all your download links in a online spreadsheet. Then we can post you spreadsheet link here. Click the link, see a spreadsheet, and then you can see what you named each one and the download link next to it. You can even write up descriptions of each set in the spreadsheet . Just a few ideas Relikk and I are giving you, it is optional. But i do agree with Conn and Relikk, we will need to find an alternative solution to all these sets you have worked hard on if we plan to have more in the future.

awesome, go ahead and add it to your spreadsheet. As I mentioned in the previous two posts, if you open the spreadsheet on the first post under your name you will be able to edit it freely. Only me and you can change it, everyone else that clicks on it is only able to view and follow the posted links.

First-time poster, and I want to say thank you to everyone who has gone through the time and effort to put these songs together.

I registered because I wanted to ask the creators (if they're still active here) how much of the material here was created with lossless/uncompressed sources, and how much was created with lossy/compressed sources. I want to convert a lot of these PCM tracks to FLAC or MP3 so that I can listen to them away from my PC on my DAP, but I'd rather avoid compressing music files that were compressed to begin with.

I've gone through the posts up to the latest one. I am going to assume that the collection from this post (https://www.zeldix.net/t1447-f-zero#29472) was put together with at least some lossy tracks; I have a lot of SSH's MP3s in my computer.

And then I see JUD6MENT's uploads, and I get the impression that some are manually rearranged by JUD6MENT, and others are sourced from other musicians.

And then Mr. Wubbzy's uploads are also mixed like that?

Would Kurrono's and Shiryu's sets be manual re-arrangements as well?

Converting them to FLAC, or any other lossless equivalent will give you the same "quality" you hear from the PCM tracks. You wouldn't be compressing anything any further.

Overall, it's hard to say without the authors chiming in about their sources. There's always spectrum analysis to fall back on if you have the time, but even the highest quality 320kbps MP3 files can start to cut off at the 20kHz frequency range, which some CD masters do as well.

Yeah, I do edit most my music to some degree, it just makes sound closer to the tempo in game and sometimes I mix different parts together.

I actually do not know of a way to reverse a PCM as you seem to be requesting. If someone knows how I actually would be interested in learning that myself.

I always put artist track credit in the description of my YouTube previews if you are interested in finding the original artists.

msu2wav can convert back. Or you can import as raw data, with the relevant settings, into Audacity. You'll lose the loop information with both, though. If you want to preserve that you'd need to open the PCM file with a hex editor and look for the values starting at offset 0x4. The value is also reversed. For example...



The hex value is really 05 93 17. Convert that back to decimal and you have the loop point that was stored in the PCM file.
