Re: F-Zero
Also my thanks and gratitudes from my side
cubear, I am a bit lost and lost overview since your deluxe patch and gladly took over. As far I know, your Deluxe patch is also compatible with this stock f-zero patch, would you mind updating this thread's original post with your new patch if that's the case? I think your pcm to pcm to spc is more novel and advanced than my original patch

I was going to do that but forgot, i will add it to my list next time i am on my pc. There was a report that finishing a race with extended tracks (a pcm in every slot) will sometimes cause a song to play for a split second that shouldnt. I was going to investigate that too as i am making an expanded pcm set later tonight and tomorrow.
I have an expanded PCM set for Original F-Zero
JUD6MENT Expanded F-Zero PCM Set:
This is an expanded PCM set, every stage has a different music track and does not repeat.
If anyone has missed it, you will want to check out what BS F-Zero Deluxe is. It is base game plus a bunch of Japanese exclusive content all into one game. It is awesome.

Updated the first post with the V5 patch.
This one patch should be compatible with all PCM packs.

Hello, I am new here!
I've been able to get msu1 to work for alttp, but I am having trouble with new pcms overlapping with the original music in Fzero. The PCM set I am using has the extended tracks 17-21 but the patch file provided by Conn doesn't include the extended ips patch mentioned in the docx. Could the overlapping music be due to using the regular ips patch?
Thanks for any help you may have.

you could try one of the patches from the /old/ folder in the zip. what method are you using to play the game? emulator, fxpak, mister.. etc?
I am using snes9x to play the game. My f-zero_msu.zip doesn't have an /old/ folder? Is it supposed to be in the V11 patch?
The music plays correctly with that patch file! Thank you for your help and your work on the ips.
on a short glimpse I couldn't find it. It is possible that I bugged my old code when I tried with you fixing deluxe, it should be the lda $46 - sta $2140 when track is found (the old version has a lda #$00 Sta $2140 here).
I wonder whether you bother fixing it or leave the stock patch seperate version (in this case, the old). I feel exhausted atm on this, so I don't mind either

Ok, I took a second look. It's tinkering so please test with attached f-zero_msu1_stock.ips
If it works we have the pcm to pcm fallback by cubear. If not we leave the "old" patch I suggest

i'll give it a go on my end conn. thanks for stepping up, i've been recuperating from the effort (and playing video games instead of doing more MSU1 stuff hehe)
edit: seems good on my end

Holy smokes, never thought the bs fzero request was going to be such a headache. Thanks Conn and Cubear for your time.
lol it wasn't so much the patch being updated for Deluxe, it was more adding a fancy new feature and fixing a decade old bug that was the big effort lol
