If you are wondering why there is a new PCM set from this same artist, The artist decided that because it has been several years since he did his x2 recording he has gotten better as a guitar player, he owns better recording equipment, and he writes better music since he first recorded his x2 album. He made the decision to completely rewrite, and redo, and replay the entire soundtrack of x2 so his new album is even better than his first one he made years ago. This new album he did is by far better than his previous one he did and it is worth redoing the PCMs for it, and that is what I did. So this is a brand new soundtrack to the game, and I am a huge Mega Man X fan and you can take my word that this is by far the best soundtrack to the game ever! If there was a better one, I would PCM it, but there is not.

mmx2_msu1-27.pcm you need to lower down the volume just a little bit.

Its just 27 only. It seems like I have to lower the volume level by a huge amount to stop the cracking. To fully stop the cracking, I have to lower it so low it is about half the volume of the rest of the game. This PCM track almost eliminates it completely without having to go to low that you can no longer hear it. Tell me what you think of this track in instead.

@JUD6MENT I think it is best to keep a standard volume PCM set on this topic. Any other volume variations should be kept in the Reporting Volume Issues topic (or exchange via PM with others). Not fond of repetitive links of same item. Which one do you want posted as "standard"?

UPDATE: If this volume changing issue keeps popping up here. I will just go ahead and create the batch script for users to change the volume to their tastes. This is getting out of hand already.

I agree with pev if we double post every set, just because the volume isn't right for some users tastes we surely drive nuts. Maintaining all the stuff is bad enough, if this comes ahead...

Hey Pev and Conn, sorry, i really dont mean to make things confusing or difficult for you guys. This particular project several people were excited for and asking for and i believe i am just trying too hard to please everyone. I think we can close this PCM set and call it finished now. If any further personal desires or changes, that person can PM me and i will see what i can do for them.

As for the new post, this isnt an overhaul or major change, i did some fine tuning basically. I did a very small volume adjustment and i fixed one track that was cracking a little and fixed one of my loop points. Its just me being a perfectionist, and like what i said before, we are now done. Also, the link Conn put on the first post, that is the only link that is active now, so we only have one PCM set made by me on anywhere on Zeldix. I am very sorry for the trouble this has caused the last few days and thank you Pev and Conn for your hard work on running this website.

Also, im excited this detour project is over because i am excited to get back to Lufia again. That game is really growing on me and i am really like the progress i am making.

I never understood what Conn meant about keeping links simple in our past conversations. Well, now I do. It just becomes a little chaotic when dealing with a lot of links, that is all.

As long as the repetitive links are filtered out it makes it more bearable. But, please, keep up the good work. And appreciate the extra effort in helping out visitors as well.

If anybody wants to update his pcm pack please let us know, I'd suggest to make this track also optional single download, so we do not need to update all sets.
SPC fallback grips if track is not found.

Would it be doable to have the MSU-1 patch merged with the MMX2 relocalization patch (https://www.romhacking.net/hacks/4777/), like what happened with Her-Saki's retranslation of MMX1? That and the missing Dr. Light track would make this the definite version of MMX2!

If the X2 relocalization patch already works with the MSU-1 patch as-is, though, just add a note to the OP, if that's okay with you!

I'm afraid not. Your archive contained a CX4 ROM and a patched game ROM, and included a PCM set that is already available in the links in the first post (TheLegendOfRenegade set). If you used another patch over the original MSU1 patch to enhance it then just include a link to that patch here or in Polargames' thread at the link below.
