Patch v4 from one of Conn's posts on page 2.

Bear in mind that this project is unfinished until ArcadeTV releases his PCM's. If you're using my Benoit Adam PCM's on SD2SNES, if there's no track available for a specific trigger then you'll get a buzzing sound.

You can still use it in something like BSNES, you won't get any buzzing there. Or for SD2SNES you can create dummy PCM's, like 1 or 2 seconds long of just silence, and then rename them to cover the missing PCM's.

Yes, please. All what's left to do is using Audacity to find the sweetspots for loops for all tracks that have no integer values in the json I posted 2 posts above and find a suitable normalization value. Thanks! Much appreciated!

If you're still not done by tomorrow afternoon (GMT) I'll get started on them then. I can certainly find optimal loop points, but i might leave the normalisation to you if you've started some tracks already. Just for continuity's sake.

When editing the Benoit Adam set I found that between -8db and -9db to be equivalent to the original SPC's.

Anyway... Let's see what happens tomorrow.

I'm back to wifi. oh god knows how I'd missed it...

I didn't play the game with Relikk's pack, with Benoit's versions, but I downloaded and check out the pcms.

How can we go further in this second pack? It's wonderful to find Benoit Adam job, but there's a lot of missing versions.

I'm working on a .wav pack with enhanced SPC's versions. I don't known if it's gonna be cool in this pack. I'll show it when i'm done.


I'm also glad that ArcadeTV is almost finishing the pack.

How can we go further in this second pack? It's wonderful to find Benoit Adam job, but there's a lot of missing versions.
My suggestion: we make sort of a mix, taking the 14 themes from Benoit Adam, looking at youtube if we can find remastered versions of missing themes not covered by Benoit.
If we cannot find specific themes, we simply take those from Alex (similar to what you did for DKC3, where you also made a "hybrid" for the orchestrated version).

Can you update your doc file with Benoit? Then I know which themes are missing and can help searching Wink

So, based on the files downloaded from here, those are the results I came up with. I don't use msupcm so the JSON thing is lost on me, the loop points speak for themselves, and just to be sure (I'm sure you know) that the trim point is from where the remainder of the file is cut off so it loops properly. It's probably exactly what the values in the JSON do, I just don't know for sure if the "trim_end" command means it trims from a certain point or whether it trims that amount of samples from the end of the file, so I didn't want to mess with it.

All of these are listed as looped tracks in the ROM itself, some of them don't have that value in your JSON file.

Have a look and see what you think, anyway.

Hey, Conn & everyone.

I've finished the enhanced pack. So I played the game once more and notice some issues on the title screen/story that I didn't perceipt before.

The 19.pcm (hex 13) needs to stop looping (it actually do not loop).

When we're watching the story and then push Y, it plays the 18.pcm (hex 12) but I think it should play the 63.pcm. So, if we wait again, it starts a demo play without stoping the title screen theme. When the demo is over, the title screen returns with no song.

I don't think it's a major thing, but I reported. Very Happy
